Termdock is a 100% local application. We have no servers and do not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. All operations are executed on your computer, and you have complete control over your data.

Data Collection & Processing

  • Termdock is a local desktop application where all data processing occurs on your device.
  • Workspace configurations, terminal history, and custom theme settings are stored locally.
  • We do not upload your personal data or project code to our servers.

AI Service Integration

  • Your API keys are stored in your local file system (~/.termdock/config/ai-config.json) and never uploaded to any server.
  • All AI requests are sent directly from your computer to the AI service providers (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, etc.).
  • Termdock does not provide proxy servers. We cannot see or log your API keys, conversations, or any transmitted data.
  • Please refer to each AI service provider's privacy policy to understand how they process your data.

Local File Access

  • Termdock requires file system access to execute terminal commands, open projects, and manage workspaces.
  • All file operations are performed under your explicit instructions.
  • We do not scan, index, or upload your file contents to external servers.

Clipboard Access

  • Clipboard functionality is only activated when you actively use paste or copy features.
  • Clipboard content is only used for your specified operations and is not logged or transmitted.

Telemetry & Analytics

  • Termdock currently does not collect any usage analytics or telemetry data.
  • If anonymous usage statistics are collected in the future, clear opt-out options will be provided.
  • Error reports require your active submission and are not sent automatically.

Data Security

  • All sensitive configurations (such as API keys) are stored using system-level encryption.
  • We follow best practices to protect your local data security.
  • We recommend regularly updating Termdock to get the latest security fixes.
