Installation

Download

Use the latest public release installer. The app features described in this documentation may be newer than that release.

macOS

• Choose the arm64 .dmg for Apple Silicon, or the .dmg without arm64 in its name for Intel (x64). Releases also offer separate Mac .zip packages.
• Open the DMG and drag Termdock to Applications.
• Launch Termdock from Applications. If the system blocks launch, inspect the security message and confirm you downloaded the intended release before allowing it.

Windows

• Download the Termdock-Setup-*.exe installer from the release assets.
• Run it and follow the installation prompts, then launch Termdock.
• The installer configures the LAN peer firewall path. Keep network access limited to trusted networks.

Verify installation

Open a project folder as a workspace and create a terminal. Check About for the installed version. AI CLI tools are installed separately; select a managed provider only after its CLI is available.

Troubleshooting

For launch or terminal failures, record the installed version, operating system, architecture, and error message. If the app opens, export a diagnostic report and use the Report menu to prepare a bug report.
