Installation

Currently supports macOS, with Windows and Linux versions in development.

macOS Installation

  1. Go to the GitHub Releases page
  2. Download the latest .dmg file
  3. Open the downloaded DMG file
  4. Drag Termdock to the Applications folder
  5. On first launch, you may need to allow execution in System Preferences > Privacy & Security

System Requirements

macOS

  • • macOS 10.15 (Catalina) or later
  • • At least 200MB free space
  • • Terminal access permissions
  • Supports both Intel and Apple Silicon

Windows / Linux

Universal Binary

Termdock v1.3.1+ supports both Intel (x64) and Apple Silicon (arm64) architectures with optimized native module handling.

macOS Big Sur Users

Important

Additional Steps Required

If you're running macOS Big Sur and encounter terminal launch issues, you may need to remove quarantine attributes:

xattr -cr /Applications/Termdock.app

Verify Installation

After installation, you can:

  • Launch Termdock from the Applications folder
  • Use Spotlight to search "Termdock" for quick launch
  • Create your first workspace to start using
